Why High Refrigerant R-410A Prices Are Arriving This Summer!

Many customers have been wondering why refrigerant prices keep going up over the years and here is the reason. According an article written by Ron R. from The News, the cause of recent price increases on refrigerant R-410A are being traced back to China due to new safety rules. In January 2017, the Chinese government created new workplace safety rules at fluorspar mines and in hydrofluoric (HF) acid plants. Since these new rules were implemented some of the plant operators had to stop production which created short supplies and impacted refrigerant prices.
